Scott Hernandez
Founder and CEO
Scott Hernandez is the CEO of Emperador Resources. Scott was previously a Partner of Onera Hospitality and the Portfolio Manager of Onera Capital, a real estate development firm. Prior to joining Onera, Scott was a member of the executive team at Sydell Group, a hotel development company where he specialized in property and construction management. At Sydell, Scott was integrally involved in design and construction management projects throughout the United States and Europe. Prior to Sydell, Scott spent five years within the Capital Markets and Investment Banking Divisions of Barclays Capital. Scott earned his BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Yale University.
Matthew Blumberg

Matthew Blumberg has previously worked as a Senior Engineer at The Acteon Group, working on structural design and integrity management on projects in Australia, the USA, the UK and Brazil. Matthew has authored technical engineering journal articles that have been published, and has spoken at international engineering symposiums about structural integrity management. Matthew currently is a director at ALJ Regional Holdings, a private equity company based in New York City. Matthew has a first class honors degree in Civil Engineering (B. Eng) from The University of Western Australia, a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of Western Australia and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Yale University.
Roland Hernandez

Mr. Hernandez is the Retired Chairman of the Board of Belmond Ltd., a luxury hotel company and travel experience provider with a vast portfolio of luxury hotels, trains and river cruises around the world. He previously served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Telemundo Group, the global Spanish-language media company. He currently is a member of the board of directors of Fox Inc., MGM Resorts International, U.S. Bancorp and Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. He previously served on the boards of Vail Resorts Inc., Sony Corporation and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. In addition, he is a member of the Board of Harvard Law School.
Mr. Hernandez earned a Bachelor’s Degree, cum laude, from Harvard College, and a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
